Frequently Asked Questions

Brow Tattoo Information

Getting your brows tattoo is a minimum two-step process. This includes your first session and a touch-up. We make no guarantees about the results of the procedure as some skin types will not accept or heal pigment in a consistent manner. Other factors that may affect the healed result include lifestyle, medication, skincare, and metabolism.

Once you leave the studio nothing can be altered until your eyebrows are fully healed and until you come back for your touch-up session. Therefore, we kindly ask for you to be patient during the healing process as it may take from 6 to 8 weeks for the color to appear.

The longevity of an eyebrow tattoo may vary from person to person due to a number of factors including aftercare, lifestyle, skin type, medications, metabolism etc. It is called permanent makeup because it is not guaranteed that you may never get your pre-tattooed skin state back. However, over time you may expect it to fade in colour. Once the colour starts to change you will know that it’s ready to get a refresher colour touch up.

Below is an estimate of how long each technique may last:

Microblading: 6-18 months
Combination: 1-2 years
Ombre/Powder: 1-3 years

Every person has a different pain threshold. To make sure you are as comfortable as possible, numbing cream is used before and throughout the procedure. For many clients they often feel nothing however there are some that may feel a slight discomfort (light scratch).

Microblading (feathering): This technique is done by using a handheld tool to creates hair-like strokes which achieves a more natural look. This is suitable for normal to dry skin type and not suitable for oily skin.

Ombre: This is done by a digital tattoo machine to create a makeup powdery look that is more defined. You may choose the intensity such as natural ombre or bold ombre on request. This is suitable for all skin types.

Combination: This technique is a combination of microblading and ombre. Firstly, feather strokes are implanted and then shading to complete this look. This is suitable for all skin types.

This is done by neutralising an old tattoo colour that has turned orange, pink, red, blue, purple back to a brown colour. It is important to have a realistic expectation of how your eyebrows will turn out once corrected. This procedure may require more than 2 sessions for desired outcome and there are no guarantees that the colour may not return in the future.
